Criw Cymraeg

We have a fantastic 'Criw Cymraeg' in Ysgol Bryn Celyn. We meet on a fortnightly basis and are currently meeting the targets required to achieve our Cymraeg Campus Bronze Award.

 

There are currently one pupil from both Year 1 and Year 2 and two pupils from Year 3, Year 4, Year 5 and Year 6 who introduce our Welsh Phrase of the week to thier classes on a Monday, remind them of the phrase of the week in assembly on a Tuesday and greet pupils in our Welsh themed assemblies on a Wednesday. As well as being busy during assemblies, we also arrange Welsh competitions, hold Welsh themed sessions for parents to enjoy and also encourage pupils to speak Welsh when outside at play time. We wear our Criw Cymraeg Hi-Vis jackets every play time and lunch time so that we stand out. 

 

We love being a part of Criw Cymraeg and enjoy speaking our very special Welsh language.
