Miss Bell is our class teacher, Miss Matthews, and Mrs Jones are our learning support assistants.

We have lots of fun learning in Year 2 and enjoy planning our lessons during 'Busy Bee' planning time where we share our 'pupil voice'.  We have an open door policy for you to ask us any questions or discuss any concerns you may have.  The children's well-being is very important to us!

Class Information

Attendance

Good attendance is so important in ensuring your child makes good progress in school. If your child is absent from school then please contact the school to let us know. Can you be an attendance hero?

Online Safety

Always remember to stay safe online! Here are some things to remember.

Snack

We encourage the children to eat a healthy snack at break time.  Fruit can be purchased from school for 25p per day or £1.25 per week.  Children can also bring their own fruit from home.

Spellings

Spelling will be tested fortnightly on Monday. It is vitally important you practise your child's spellings every day.  Children with full marks will be awarded a certificate to celebrate their success.

Home Reading

The children will be given a reading book and key words to practise with you at home.  This can be changed as often as you like.  Please read with your child and practise their key words every day.

Physical Development

Please wear your PE kit to school every Monday. We are doing PE outside weather permitting.
